Precision linear ion trap array with low axial micromotion for trapping of multiple ions up to large Coulomb crystals.
Trap offers separate loading and multiple spectroscopy zones. A wide 3D laser access is possible.
The micromotion in 3D can be compensated in each individual trap segment.
Dimensions: 30 mm x 30 mm x 2.5 mm
Trap consists of two gold coated micro-structured RF chips and two micro-structured compensation chips made of Rogers material.
Electrically tested; free contact pads for capacitors, resistors or sensors.
Optionally sensors can be included in the trap stack
Trap depicted consists of 12 axial segments.
